Ok here it is... time for my first bloggy shameless plug and today it's not about me, it's about The Boy.
The Boy has entered the TomTom Be The Voice competition. In the first stage of competition he did really well, with 5000 votes in a week and a half.On Friday at midnight, he was announced as a national finalist, beating out thousands of other entries for a one in ten shot at winning $10 000 and a chance to record as the next voice of TomTom GPS systems. He got the call on Saturday, and was asked what his availability was for flights to Sydney to record (!), radio spots (!!) and flights to Melbourne to do breakfast TV (!!!).
Trouble is, despite HUGE groundswell at the start, I fear our regular friends are suffering a little from voter fatigue.
This is where you in the blogosphere come in. We need your help... No matter how many times we vote we don't seem to be able to topple this guy (A TomTom Adventure) from the top spot. It is my personal aim to make sure this guy gets rolled no matter how many times I have to hijack a computer to vote.
So please, if you can spare a second (just two clicks, no signing up, no giving details, no nothing else) please vote!
