Narcissism 101

Some people shouldn't be allowed to talk, or in this case type!

Hello Blog,

It’s a pleasure to finally meet you. I am the less educated and less intellectual of the Ballard son’s. That’s right I am Luke Ballard’s younger brother. It’s not easy growing up when your 10 year senior sibling has the academic virtues that he was blessed with, and you... well let’s just thank god I got the looks in the family. Due to my less than average ability to comprehend anything remotely intelligent, it would often be said I shouldn’t be allowed to speak, well ha! Thank you to snarkhunters I now have that ability, but I do owe it to my brother, he has always been inspiring.

I would like to focus the attention of my first blog to this theme, the fact that some people should not be allowed to speak, or in this case type. Facebook is an overwhelming epidemic where people come together and share common interests, voice their opinions on things they like, and things they don’t. Some of these people need to take a long hard look in the mirror! I refer to a group which has just been brought to my attention, “STOP THE SPREAD OF SOUTHERN CROSS TATTOOS”.

I am all for the idea of everyone having the right to their opinions and to voice their thoughts, hence why I am a member of this awesome site, but people like Aaron McNabb who sit here and purposely bad mouth a national icon and the way the fine people of this country wish to display it is disgusting. I quote this directly from his group page “Help stop the spread of the BOGAN STAMP! It has erupted into an epidemic of wife beating, cousin shagging, parents may have been related before they married proportions!” What the hell? Was this guy on drugs when he posted this group? Or maybe he was dropped on his head at birth? I am waiting for him to create his new group, I think it will be something along the lines of “stop hanging the Australian flag in your windows, its crass”.

So naturally when I go and look at old Aaron’s mini profile I wasn’t sure what to expect. Being we are a multicultural country I felt he was going to maybe be that of a different race, I mean he is slandering bogans and the idea of white southern hicks. What was that I said in my second paragraph “take a long hard look in the mirror”, well in his photos he looks to be a senseless red head bogan in a wife beater with his sleeves (tattoo’s down his arms) done. Gee hypocritical much? I think someone needs to take old Aaron out the back and give him a good flogging.

All that is giving me concern now is there is 450+ people so far who have joined this group. Shame people, shame!
