A Guide to Megalomania

Annoying behaviours

Alot has been said on snarkhunters.com about idiots on the road. I will link to previous blogs down below in case you want to go back and read, agree and share how these experiences affect you. What I want to talk about quickly is something I just witnessed. I couldn't believe it!

So I was out the front of my studio/store just talking with a passer-by when a car across the road, that had a towbar installed backed into a pristine, near-new SAAB that was parked legally and correctly.

"That's ok" I thought, "surely they'll leave a note."

But they didn't. The owner of the offending vehicle drove off and parked elsewhere.

Having been in the position where someone has hit my car and then driven off refusing to take responsibility for their actions or damage I was annoyed on behalf of the SAAB owner and quickly scribbled a note with my details, what I witnessed and the licence plate of the naughty car. I placed this note under the windscreen and went about my day.

I glanced at the car maybe 10 minutes later and noticed the note was gone. My first assumption was the owner came back and got the note but on talking to a friend who was in my studio at the time, I found out that the person who HIT the SAAB came back, read the note, pretended to write something on the note and made a motion of putting it back, meanwhile pocketing it and walking away thinking they got away with it.

This. Boils. My. Blood.

I wrote a second note, explaining that the first "mysteriously" disappeared and on closer inspection of the car I noticed the driver's side window was opened a crack to allow some air into the car while it is parked. Opened enough for me to put note number two on the driver's seat!

Take that assholes!

As promised: here are the links to previous blogs on topic!
