I'm Behind QANTAS

I am not going to claim to speaking on behalf of the entire snarkhunters.com team – though I know some do support these comments but I would like to take a moment to come out in support of QANTAS and CEO Alan Joyce.

The media and as a result society are quick to bring down the wrath of popular opinion on QANTAS and it’s management this weekend but let’s be fair – Mr Joyce did what the unions forced him to do.

Our tribute to Steve Jobs

Probably the biggest news in the last week was the death of Apple co-founder and CEO, Steve Jobs. You'd have to be Helen Keller on a deserted island in a coma to have not heard the news - so rather than rehashing everything the conventional media has spat out, I wanted to share how Steve's death has affected me. Okay, there will be some rehashing.

An Exclusive Interview with Thor's Jaimie Alexander

altWith Thor hitting the cinemas this week, the wonderful folks at Paramount were nice enough to arrange a conversation with the lovely, up and coming Jaimie Alexander. Jaimie, whom the team at snarkhunters.com has loved since she first came to notice as Jessie on Kyle XY, plays Lady Sif in Marvel's latest offering and is currently in Australia for the world premiere.

Straya Day = Sausage Fest

There are people who are going to object to my referring to Australia Day as the more colloquial 'Straya Day' and for 364 days of the year, I'm right there with you. But what is our national holiday without colloquial abbreviations, laziness of speech and sausages on the barbie?

With that in mind, this intrepid Snark Hunter ventured beyond the $4.99 1/2 kilo pack of sausages available at Woolies and I decided to try my hand at making my own.
