I'm disappointed in homosexuals. In a positive stereotype (think "Welcome To Jamaica, Have A Nice Day") homosexuals are stylish, artistic, and passionate, but in terms of getting the right for same-sex marriage,they've completely missed their proverbial love boat.
Sure, they can plead their case in our legal systems, win over public opinion, and take years to learn that the grass isn't even greener, but why wait so long for them to share their hetero brother's misery?
What gays need to do is get down on their knees. Not to beg, and not to do what you're thinking, but to pray. Being gay needs to become a religion.
Because nobody fucks with religion. Think about, the universally recognised right to worship whatever anybody wants to is as old as religion itself (?) and has been giving people the right to be compete arseholes ever since.
What has given humans the right to be inhumane for years? Let's have a look...
Innocent people were tried and hung as witches...religion
Women can be treated like shit...religion
Non-followers aren't allowed to go to weddings...religion

People dying because someone says they can't be treated by medicine or a doctor..religion
People starving because they've been told air will keep them alive...religion
People starting wars or taking lives in the name of a god...religion
People taking days off work...religion
People not having to eat the traditional shitty meal on airplanes...religion
People having many wives...religion
Animal slaughter...religion
Human sacrifice...religion
How does two people in love enjoying the right to be married compare to some of this shit? It doesn't even show up on the radar! But religion will be the only way for it to get through.
So homosexuals, if you're serious about same sex marriage, start a religion. Take a page from the Brasilian tribe that forces their kids to endure over 200 bites from the most painful ant in the world, the bullet ant (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WQ6rFKhyn0) With religion, youhave the right to create as much pain as you want, albeit an ant bite, or a marriage.
