Summer is a season fat with nostalgia, a season where various cock-blankets from various media outlets bone on about anthems and sing-a-longs and surprise hits. I shall be no different. I like denim cut-offs, long necks and sticky knees cooled by ceiling fans as much as the next deskbound hack. As such, I proffer the first Quickstix playlist, Socks Off, seven songs that have captured my imagination as we move towards the hotter months.

Hello frappe-sippers.

Surprise! They hast given me a blog. Frogs are falling from the sky too. It's a day for mixed emotions.
