A movie anyone could commit to.

There are some movies so boring that you doze off while watching and fantasize about Natalie Portman asking you to have lots of sex with her. One definite bonus of 'No Strings Attached' is the absence of any reason to take a mid-film nap.
In reality for many guys, the one who got away didn't actually get away - she just told you she wasn't ready to settle down, dumped you and then got engaged to the next guy who came along. In No Strings Attached, Natalie Portman plays THAT girl, Emma - a vivacious doctor with personality plus, who is beautiful and funny and wants sex with absolutely no commitment.
Ashton Kutcher is Adam, an aspiring television writer who is perpetually happy and optimistic and living out every guy's fantasy as Natalie Portman's friend with benefits.
The formula is tried and tested - guy and girl meet, agree on a strictly physical friendship, set some ground rules prohibiting snuggling, jealousy and breakfast before he decides he loves her and she takes an emotional journey akin to a rite of passage before deciding that ... let's not spoil the ending because in No Strings Attached, like most true love stories (and sexual adventures) it is the journey that is exciting as much as the climax.
The chemistry between Portman and Kutcher is apparent and kind of exciting to watch, moreso because we're not initially looking for love in their eyes but unadulterated lust. Both of our leads are able to pull this off, along with a fantastic on-screen presence every time they share the screen.
If you think the movie couldn't get any better and you can tear your eyes away from Portman and Kutcher underwear clad (or even semi nude) the real treat is the supporting cast including Kevin Kline as Adam's former TV star father, Cary Elwes as the Dread Pirate Doctor and Lake Bell as the hot but geeky assistant who usually gets the guy at the end of the movie.
While 'No Strings Attached' is not an original breakthrough storyline and the rom-com genre is filled with movies of the boy-meets-girl and something goes awry before everything works out in some fatalistic sense of karmic synergy - the film delivers a solid and realistic script (complete with four letter words), strong lead performances, excellent supporting cast and great chemistry and timing throughout the film.
No Strings Attached is a fun and casual romp in the hay that leaves you wanting more and clamouring for commitment.
