Dear Readers,
This morning as I awoke, settled down in front of my trusty MacBook (white and shiny for those who care) sipped the tasty life giving properties of my second cup of coffee, nibbled on some Muesli Bread (go find it, it's frakkin tasty) and turned up my favourite 'album of the moment' Fantasies by Metric I received some VERY exciting news.

We're all different. Lets start there. We all come out the same way, we're all created the same way (well... most of the time). I truly believe we all have the same abilities to achieve anything right from the start. Saying that life can take a dramatic swing later or even straight away. You may be born to rich parents, you may be born to poor, you may be abandond, abused, unloved, overloved, ignored, bullied... the list goes on and on. Our environment effects us on a huge scale.
But I'm not here to discuss psychological theory. I'm hear to voice my rampant opinion, which I was checked on recently by a friend who felt i was a little out of control with my online extrapolating. There may be a degree of truth to it. But it's all point of view stuff really and this is where I think the world falls down in it's efforts to grow up and move forward.

You may have noticed recently on SnarkHunters, that we've all got fancy new names for our individual blogs. You'll see more changes in the coming months as we ramp up our plans to take over the interweb and prevent the zombie apocalypse.
I'm trying something a little different with the blog this week (and probably a fair bit from now on) and giving you all something fictional to read. There's plenty of great writing on this site dealing with a diverse range of topics of topical and personal importance to the individual writers and I'm not sure I need to add more of the same. So, here goes nothing... be sure to leave any feedback you like good, bad or in between.

I'm in love with a Japanese pop star! Lets put aside the fact I'm a try-hard rock pig (just for this blog) and talk about my crush.
I first found out about Tommy (real name Tomoko Kawase) via fellow SnarkHunter Anthony. If I recall correctly we were discussing music (as we often do) and I queried whether he'd listened to Shonen Knife, an all girl J-Rock band from the 80s and 90s (I believe they're still active but only one of the original members is still in the band and that's just not right in my book. They ended when original bassist Michie Nakatani left, but that's another story). Anthony asked if I had heard any Tommy february6 (which I hadn't) and he threw me an mp3 of the amazing "Choose Me or Die".

You know what ISN'T funny though? Kevin fucking Rudd. Our dickshit Prime Minister who recently commented that the country was almost certainly going to fall into recession.
REALLY? SHIT!. That's ok Kevin, you're trying hard, you've warned us ahead of time and that makes it ok. Oh while we're talking mate, I'm just gonna forewarn you that I'm not going to stamp on the brake if you're in front of me on the road... just so we're all square on that.
